The John Osborne Telecaster reflects the distinctive artistry of Grammy-winning guitarist and songwriter John Osborne, whose career includes multiple top 10 hits, seven Academy of Country Music awards and six Country Music Association awards. Closely modelled after his personal guitar, this highly customised Telecaster features Fender’s B string bending mechanism, allowing the B string to be raised up to a whole step for pedal steel-like chords and lead lines. An alder body delivers balanced tone and sustain, paired with a Road Worn® oil-finished ’68-style maple neck and maple cap fingerboard for smooth playability and vintage feel. Finished in Road Worn Olympic White to capture the character of a well-travelled stage instrument, it includes custom-voiced John Osborne Telecaster pickups, a custom pickguard and three compensated brass barrel saddles, offering tones that range from shimmering cleans to growling overdrive.
