The Flat Five Standard is a no-nonsense take on Godin’s carved-top, modern singlecut design. This version skips the piezo and stereo wiring in favour of a straightforward electric setup, with a solid flame maple top over a maple centre block and poplar wings. A mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, 24¾ inch scale, jumbo frets and a flatter 16 inch radius give it a fast, modern feel that suits heavier and more articulate styles.
There is some noticeable wear, particularly on the back and sides. The top surface has just the typical light abrasions. Includes hard case.
