Refretted long ago, this ES-125TDC has seen it all. We suspect an amplifier has fallen on the neck at some point - breaking the neck in over 7 pieces (not included a headstock repair). There are 3 scarf-joints that have been added when reconnected as well as a very fine break in the fingerboard.

Resulting in more than one non-professional neck reset in it's life, there is a very fine air pocket inbetween the neck however very little sinkage on the top itself. These archtops are often subject to requiring resets as they move over the years - this one is playing fantastically well with a very slim 60s style neck however bridge is bottoming out and the tailpeice is flush against the body currently so will be due for a neck reset in the distant future.

The guitar has had several patches repaired as the sides of the body have been split in many places however professionally reglued and refinished as has the back of the neck - both with nitro cellulose. The most recent neck reset has been completed with a repaint of the sides of the neck joint on the top of the body in a Cardinal Red finish (the red paint name of the Cherry Burst) with some overspray around the sides - deepening the gorgeous burst.

Original tuners have been replaced long ago with Klusons as has the original switch tip however all other hardware looks to be original aside from the pickguard. The electronics are all original however pickups to have been rewound and potted. Original bridge/tailpiece with nylon saddles for that classic 60s Gibson sound!

Guitar has been restrung lefthanded at some point with the original nut being cut but slots have been restored for righthanded.

2 x splits in top have been repaired however excess glue remains in side guitar.

Bracing is a little loose however very common on Gibson hollowbodies of any age. Seems structurally fine for now.
All things aside, this is one of the best sounding Gibsons we've had here in the shop & plays wonderfully as is.
Includes non original 'Aria'-branded hardshell case.
